Module builder

Snap pack modules together into custom ships and stations, then save the design as data.

Designs are not used in gameplay yet: faction and layout are stored for later.

Read-only build: saving designs and snap overrides needs the Vite dev server (bun run dev).

Modules

Pick a part and click in the view to place the first (root) part.
Pick a part to attach, or click a socket.
Move over a socket (green = suggested for this part) and click to glue.

Tools

Align Axis keeps new parts square to the part they glue to; Surface seats them face to face on sloped faces. Green (pack) fits always use the pack's own joint.

Snap overrides: no unsaved changes.

Parts touch when their surfaces come within 2 cm or one sits inside a closed module. Floating parts are tinted red.
